Visiting a church for the first time can be overwhelming. Knowing this, we desire to make your first visit feel welcoming while glorifying Christ. We hope you’ll want to return and join the Slater Road Baptist Church family!
Welcome to Slater Road Baptist Church
We offer several service times each week for you to be a part of:
Sunday School - 10:00-10:45 AM
Morning Worship - 11:00-12:00 PM
Sunday Evening - 6:00 PM
Wednesdays for Bible Study - 7:00 PM
We want you to feel like family as soon as you walk through our doors. You are greeted by people who are always ready to extend a friendly, genuine welcome.
We begin each of our services with traditional songs from the hymn book, followed by a sermon from the pastor. You can be assured that each message (sermon) is based on truths straight from the Bible. Each sermon is relevant and applicable to our day-to-day lives. On the first Sunday morning of each month, we end with the Lord’s Supper.
Our Wednesday evening prayer and Bible study time is a warm, family atmosphere where we share both prayer requests and praises. This is followed by a verse-by-verse study of the Bible. Right now, we are studying through the Book of Nehemiah (from the Old Testament). We meet from 7:00-8:00 pm.
